The Things You Do For FriendsI'm looking out for the two of us
And I hope we'll be here when they're through with us
Castiel looked back at Dean, his brow furrowed. "I'll clear them out," he said, undoing the tie which hung limply around his neck. "This is our only chance."
"Wait," Dean said, frowning at Castiel. "You're gonna take on five angels?"
Looking point-blank back at Dean, Castiel simply said "Yes."
"Isn't that suicide?" Dean asked, his voice gruff.
"Maybe it is," Castiel said, watching the furrow of Dean's brow become more pronounced. It would be nice to tell Dean that he had faith in him, but he wouldn't lie. He'd watched Dean struggle against whatever Zachariah had shown him, but remain too impeccably stubborn to call Sam. Until it was too late. He'd watched Dean drink himself through the death of Joe and Ellen, alone. He'd watched him repeatedly look to the place where Sam should have stood only to find empty air, and he'd watched Dean shut a small part of himself off
What Was Missing -Genderbend'Cake? Beemo?'
Fionna looked carefully all around the kitchen of the Treehouse, crouched down next to the couch. When there was no reply, she quietly lifted up a cushion and pulled out a wad of a pink gooey substance. She curled up on the couch and held it to her face. Since the Tree Wizard hadn't wanted the lock of Gumball's hair, she figured there was nothing wrong with her keeping it. It reminded her of how he had said that he really did like her.
'Hey, whatcha doin', toots?' Fionna jumped and squeaked as Beemo and Cake appeared from behind the couch.
'Dude!' Cake smiled at her cheekily.
'Don't worry, sis. We won't tell anybody about the private time you spend with your wad of P-ball's hair.' Fionna blushed as Beemo sat down on the arm of the couch.
'Baby, we're roommates. Which is why I'm gonna show my secret special keepsake to you!' Cake pointed at her, eyes sparkling, then walked over to the front of the stove and removed a floorboard, digging around in the gap.
